Work. Play. Love. Repeat.

Apologies for not being able to get posts up for the last few days... we've been experiencing some internet issues but we think it's all fixed now! For more pictures, slideshows, and videos, check out www.facebook.com/RollingHillsPresbyterianYouthGroup and "like" our page!

Day 2 was filled with lots of hard work and fun! Even with sore muscles and sleepy eyes, 2012 Service Trippers were up and ready to show the people of Sheridan what "Love in Work Clothes" looks like. In addition to the Habitat for Humanity site and Pastor Darrell's house, Group One had the opportunity to work for the Forest Service at Sibley Lake clearing the cross-country skiing trails for the winter.

At Pastor Darrell's house, Sam Millard spent all day trying to fix this wheelbarrow...

Mission accomplished! Great job Sam! Oh and Happy Birthday!

Kate Gardner and Laura Taylor spent the day building support joists for the new deck at Pastor Darrell's house.

Callie Rodina and Tyler Benschoter drilled holes and prepared new deck boards.

Andie Divelbiss painted  the newly laid siding at the Habitat House. What a pretty color!

Group Two braved the heat of the day at the Habitat House by laying roofing shingles. Youth learned how to basket weave the shingles on the edges of the house.

The Born sisters working together at the Habitat House!

Hanging insulation! Not an easy job, but Christine (the future homeowner) will appreciate it!

Rachael Gardner and Erin Penner showing off their roofing skills.

Chase Allison and Bennett Weaver making sure that roof doesn't go anywhere.

Christopher Smith hammering down some siding at the Habitat House.

Liz Gray and Cameron Gueldner weaving roofing  shingles.

Carter Grissom showing that he knows how to swing a hammer while Reed Millard does his best model pose on top of the Habitat House roof.

Playing around on the jungle gym at Kendrick Park!

Libby Kaufman showing off her safety skills at Sibley Lake.

While Carter Grissom shows off his javelin skills. How's his form, Nick?

Andy Nelson and Mattie Brower and the rest of Group Two rebuilding some puncheon bridges on the trails at Sibley Lake.

Liz Gray showing her "oneness" with nature Mr. Miyagi style.

Lauren Sedorcek isn't afraid to get dirty. She knows service is just love in work clothes.

Below, Russell Brown and Andie Divelbiss try their hand at hammering siding.

Katie Born and Cameron Gueldner adding another coat of paint to the Habitat House.

Callie Thrutchley and Trey Hoefer are determined to get that siding up!

Trey Hoefer measures the window dimensions to cut out the siding to fit.
After a hard day of work on Day 3, everyone headed to Downtown Sheridan to check out the shops and meet the nice people!

Brian Watson finally found someone taller than him!

Callie Rodina getting her Sheridan Cowgirl on. Can we say tourist?

Laura Taylor and Kate Wooldridge modeling their awesome new cowboy hats from the Boot Barn in Sheridan.

We've been enjoying some wonderful meals on the trip courtesy of our amazing cooks, Stacey Gardner and Kathy Gustafson. At right, Freshmen Mattie Brower and Brenna Harsch share a Lady and the Tramp moment on Italian Night.
